The first products of Knauders I learned many years ago still under the name "Doggytools". I don't even remember where that was, but I do remember that I looked somewhat skeptically at the "simple" fleece things. "Expensive Tüddelskram" or "useful acquisition"? I wanted to know! And I became a "Doggytools" or "Knauders Best" fan through and through!

To this day, the Schnüffelrasen purchased many years ago is always in use, both privately and in commercial dog training, at home, on trips and on the road in the forest. He offers himself to the smallest and largest, narrowest and widest snouts and does not resent even an impatient scraping of thick feet or an unrestrained shaking of powerful jaws. Countless times he drew his circles in the washing machine - and still looks like just newly acquired. My own dogs, my client dogs - and me! - love him! Quite a few beneficial experiences have been reproduced in case studies in various of my book titles.

I like to use the various sniffing offers specifically in training. The spectrum of use ranges from working with psychologically - but also physically! - unstable dogs, which can get more calmness, self-confidence, but also positive experience and trust to humans by the sniffing work, up to short sniffing interludes during various training walks or training units on the dog school meadow. Especially for the latter offerings, I always have the Sniffstar or the newer Sniffroll in my backpack! And sometimes a round of snooping and grappling with one of the Sniffpads just adds the crowning touch to a lesson.....

Naturally, the dogs learn in addition that besides the "simple" sniffing, it is also about smelling/searching, thinking, trying. In the process, the human partner, through appropriate guidance and goal-oriented assistance, will steer what may have been initially a hair-raising process into calmer and more concentrated courses of action. For the dog a species-appropriate employment, for the human-dog team, which here together acts or just spends time close to each other and with each other, a wonderful and bonding component in everyday life!

For me Knauder's Best products are really "tools" - virtually the "Swiss Army Knife of sniffing"! And I would not want to miss them anymore! Thanks for that!
